I would like to thank the citizens of Johnson County for their support again. I am humbled by knowing that over 50,000 voters went to the voting booth and filled in the small oval next to my name. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve everyone in my first term and I look forward to serving you another term.
I feel like I accomplished many of my goals in the first term and am ready to continue the hard work of representing you as your Sheriff.
Congratulations to our new President Barack Obama. I think he is going to do a great job. Congratulations to the rest of the local, state, and national candidates that I had the privilege of sharing the ballot with.
